Camp Sequassen Gold Status

What is Camp Sequassen Gold Status?

Gold Status is earned by units who register at least 80% of their Scouts by May 31.

What are the benefits to Camp Sequassen Gold Status?

Units who achieve Gold Status can register one additional adult at no extra cost!*

Units also receive a gold ribbon for their unit’s flag and each Scout receives a special gold patch.

 *Third adult may be registered with a minimum of five Scouts.

Two adults attend free with minimum 5 Scouts attending

Gold Status units (80% of youth in troop attend Scouts BSA resident camp) receive a third adult free.

Refund Policy

Each Scout requires a $75 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration.  

Prior to June 15, 2025, a full refund, minus the $75.

After June 16, 2025, the camp fee, less $225, is refundable

 

Adults will be given a full refund if notified in writing two weeks prior to the start of camp.  Any adult cancellations after that will forfeit $75.

Camperships

A campership is financial assistance awarded to a Cub Scout or Scouts BSA Scout to allow them to attend a Scout BSA or Cub Scout summer camp program. The organizations below offer camperships to attend Scouts BSA summer resident camp at Camp Sequassen.

Connecticut Yankee Council, BSA

Every Scout deserves a week at summer camp, and no Scout will miss camp because of a lack of funds.

Connecticut Yankee Council offers camperships for Scouts to attend a resident or day camp program.

The deadline for campership application is May 1 and should be submitted with the camp registration form and deposit.

Sequassen Alumni Association

Sequassen Alumni Association

The Sequassen Alumni Association offers the Chief Bogan Scholarship (merit-based) and Laurel Leaf Campership (need-based) each year.

The deadline for campership application is May 31 and can be found on the Sequassen Alumni Association website.
